Volunteerism & Philanthropy

It is Mathieu & Associates’ policy to practice volunteering one’s time and philanthropy, whether personal or company wealth, as well as talents for charitable, educational, or other worthwhile activities, especially in one’s community. Mr. Mathieu truly believes in giving back to organizations, which helped him succeed. Some of the organizations receiving financial support from Mathieu & Associates are:

Coast Guard Foundation

The Coast Guard Foundation is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of the men and women of the Coast Guard and their families. Founded more than 40 plus years ago, the Coast Guard Foundation provides education, support, and relief for the brave women and men, who enforce maritime law, protect our homeland, and preserve the environment. The Coast Guard Foundation aims to strengthen their service to our nation by encouraging them to excel on-and off-duty.

Navy League of the United States (NLUS)

The Navy League of the United States (NLUS) was founded in 1902 with the encouragement of President Theodore Roosevelt. The Navy League has provided a powerful voice for a stronger sea service to Congress and the American people. The Navy League has grown into the foremost citizens’ organization to serve, support, and stand with all the sea services – US Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, US Coast Guard, and U.S.-flag Merchant Marine.

Disabled American Veterans (DAV)

DAV is the most long-lasting veterans advocacy and assistance group in this country. We’ve watched this country change and grow, and we’ve grown along with it. However, DAV has never wavered in its core mission to fulfill our country’s promises to the men and women who served. We invite everyone, veterans and civilian, men and women, young and old, to join us as we stand up for those veterans who risked it all when they stood up for us, our country, and our ideals. We are dedicated to a single purpose: empowering veterans to lead high-quality lives with respect and dignity. We accomplish this by ensuring that veterans and their families can access the full range of benefits available to them; fighting for the interests of America’s injured heroes on Capitol Hill; and educating the public about the great sacrifices and needs of veterans transitioning back to civilian life.
